The purpose of AntiquityNOW’s Education Program is to instill in children an interest in ancient civilizations so that they may become lifelong proponents of cultural preservation, appreciate historical antecedents that affect the world today and embrace tolerance for people of other cultures. This section will continue to grow as we add curricula, blogs, videos and narratives, much of it inspired by children themselves.
We welcome any volunteers and teachers willing to translate curricula and contribute to our Education Program. We plan to make this an inclusive educational experience for children all over the world.
We are very excited about the opportunities that are ahead for AntiquityNOW’s Education Program. Please join us as we bring history alive for children and inspire generations to come.
- One element of the Education Program is our Yesterday’s Child curricula series which uses creative storytelling to promote critical thinking and literacy. Click on the banner below to learn more about the series and to view the first module, The Tale of Yong and Bao.
- Another element will be a Reading List of books that will help children to learn more about the people and cultures of antiquity. We would like your help in creating this list. Click here to submit your favorite book about ancient history!
